Anniversary quilt

In our quilt group, we have a tradition, everyone having a birthday ending with a zero can express a wish, and all members of the group make a block for their friend.
Here is my friend Marie-Louise's quilt, just completed, with blocks given by friends. Everyone will be surprised in our group, as Marie-Louise had asked for some quite simple blocks, and she transformed them all, according to a clever technique she invented, and the result is stunning! I might convince her to turn it into a pattern!

  3. I love this Mary, it reminds me of your Blue Ducks Quilt. Marie Louise has created a stunning quilt from the anniversary blocks. Made from simple blocks with a clever finish it would be great if she was able to share the pattern. Even now, it is an encouragement to experiment with creating from simple beginnings.
